Hey all. What attracted me so much to this raw food lifestyle was the idea that you feel increased happiness and achieve a new vibrancy and zest for life. I was wondering if anyone could share experiences as far as this goes. I do know that I don't ever feel tired anymore... or at least hardly ever. I can get by on very little sleep, and I love it. When I tried eating cooked foods and such for xmas I became quite tired afterwords... so this is definitely a nice benefit.
BUT, how are people's happiness and level of contentment?

i can't really answer that. all i know is my norm now is this life. i don't live in the world of SAD food... so it's not my reality. KWIM?

Do you remember any differences in mood/outlook/vibrancy yada yada from when you were living the typical meal lifestyle?

nice question ray :) I'd like to hear some experiences as well, as that's also what mainly attracted me to this diet.

i was very sick when i was SAD... very sick. so my life completely changed when i went raw. not only have i released over half my body weight... but all of my dis-eases are gone. my bloodwork is super healthy and i'm feeling so empowered and full of life.
when i was SAD... i was lethargic, over-weight and depressed.
so ya... major changes for me.

awesome. :) that's the type of thing I love to hear.
.. this is so important. this aspect of the diet that is. I've lived the last 5 years of my life, nearly 25% of my whole life, on prescription drugs that have sucked my life away. I have been off completely everything for over a month, and I never plan on living that life again. No more taking life for granted, and I want the senses and happiness to take in everything God has blessed us with.
