My dehydrator stopped working!!!!:( I used it last night without any problems. I made up italian wraps and went to turn it on and nothing. Has this happen to anyone else, if so what do i need to do. I have tried it in different outlets, checked my breakers and nothing! I have so much I have made up and now it will go to waste if I can't get it to work. I tried calling the hotline, but I am in a different time zone then them.

put everything in your oven on low. turn the oven on for 30 minutes and then turn it off for 30 minutes. keep doing this till it's dehydrated.

that'll at least get it dehydrated for ya in the meantime.

is it an excalibur? you can actually unscrew the back and see if anythings jammed. just be careful cos theres a coiled wire thats fragile and wont go back into thte proper shape if you bend it.

Is this a old dehydrator? Sometime people has the bad habit to pull the power cord not the right way, which lead to damage it and make it open inside. If you have a multimeter, you could check the conductivity and if you can, you could repair it yourself with solder and of course with some heat shrink to seal it or simply change your power cord with a new one.

Unless you had a strange noise with the fan before it stop working, it wouldn't be the fan. Most the time, the fan will make quite of bit of unusual noise and sometime smell funny when running. If your device has fuse, you can check the fuse if it is blown.

I suspect the power cord if your outlet and breaker is fine (Did you try to plug something else such a air drying to test the outlet still work?)

Best luck, the oven suggestion seem like a good option versus for that food going to waste.
