I am starting to feel like I am getting a cold, is there anything that I should increase or stay away from. Everyone in my family is sick and I would like to avoid it if possible, so I didn't know if there was something extra I should do. Thanks!

Thanks Aleesha! I just took a sprout "pill" lol. My sinuses have been draining lately. Don't know if its a type of detox or healing???? Going to do this as a preventative just in case :)

there are certain things I stick to when I am feeling cold symptoms:
Tea!
Best things to put in your tea are:
Enchinacea
Ginger
lemon
honey
ginseng
chamomile
also some other things that come to mind are:
cayenne pepper
lavender baths
oil of oregano
sage incense
...

I will have to go to the store and pick some garlic up. I like the tea idea as well. Thanks for all the great information!

I always keep an immune formula on hand just for that purpose. It usually has Garlic, Vit C, Echinacea, Ginger, Astragalus, Olive Leaf Extract, etc. This way I don't have to worry at all about it. I also try to take probiotics on a regular basis which also protects the immune system.

So with your immunce formula are they pills, and you take them all when you start to feel a cold coming on? Also which probiotics do you take? Thanks!

What about a netti pot. That may help.

I do take capsules because it's the easiest way to get a concentrated amount of ingredients. I take it the second I feel anything that may indicate I could be getting a cold/flu or if I'm in a situation where my immune system could be compromised (ie: someone that is sick or recovering). It's guaranteed to work versus if I try to do it with food. Usually I only need 1-2 doses and if you don't like capsules, you can add it to a smoothie. Garden of Life Primal Defense Ultra probiotics is the strongest formula I've come across and very similar to a formula David Wolfe use to sell. I haven't had any type of cold or flu in 10 yrs and the last time was because my immune system was severely compromised with both pesticides and living with someone sick. Now I can be around anyone and not worry about it.
A Sick Smoothie, if you want to also incorporate food:
Oranges/juice
4+ cups Greens (or raw green powder/liquid)
Ginger
Garlic
