Welcome to the Monthly Raw Challenge!

We're excited about this new area of the forum that is specifically for those of you who are eager to commit to a month of eating 100% raw foods and seeing miraculous results!

WE (one of the moderators) will start a new challenge thread on the first of every month.

We want the focus of these monthly challenge threads to be on staying raw and accountability. Therefore, if you have eaten all raw and then slip up and have something cooked, we don’t want you to beat yourself up over it or dwell on it, but this is not space to discuss it. You are more than welcome to document it in your journal/blog or ask for help in the discussion area, but it is not necessary (and not allowed) to discuss your slip-up here in the challenge threads, just get right back on track and keep going!

In the event that you feel you are not quite ready to fully commit to the challenge and you find yourself having slip-ups often, then please join us again during the following month. Of course you are still more than welcome to participate on other parts of the forum, but we would really like to keep this section dedicated to those who are committed to doing 30 days 100% raw.

Wow no posts today? Hope you all are doing well

Again a day of heavy detox. I am unbelievably tired and irritable, feeling a bit weak too, chills/hot thing is still going on. I think that day when I messed up on the 11th definitely prolonged my detox.

I ran 30 minutes on the treadmill in the morning though :) which is good, and which also could maybe have brought out deeper detoxification symptoms? Because I have not exerciesd while on raw yet....

B: Green smoothie: 2 bananas, bok choy
L: 4 bananas, 4 dates
D: 2 mangos, parsley, romaine smoothie
S: cucumber

Once again not hungry. I had one of those days where all food was unappetizing. Bananas are starting to taste really chalky, chemically to me but can't afford the organic so I'm making a lot more smoothies instead of eating them plain. I have noticed that greens definitely taste better, but fruit tastes worse. All in all, there seemed to be something missing in me today, all food seemed dead, nothing could bring me out of the irritable/depressed slump I am in. I feel bad for my family for having to be around me today! (I haven't told them detox on raw even exists, because they would definitely think i'm making that up and that this eating is making me sick) so I'm going ot have to learn to suck it up
