Oh....and I had an interesting encounter today with a friend who was pretty much laughing in my face when I told her I was going to try and let my body heal itself in terms of chronic fatigue and back pain by going vegan and eating tonnes of raw greens etc. Amazing how.... judgemental people are about food. I dont say anything when she talks about shoving bread up a turkey for an appetizer. But that's just me.

Why not start a blog for yourself in our blogging section. Many of your posts can go in there and members can read and respond there. The forum is really more for questions than daily observations. :)

I think a lot of people cannot comprehend the concept of food as healer. We are used to going on medication or other forms of allopathic medicine at the first sign of anything.

So just live your life, and share if asked. When she see's you feeling better, that'll be your evidence!

RY,

I really hope you read my reply in your back pain thread.
while eating raw foods may help the pain, the pain is also there for a reason, something is out of alignment and that can only further degenerate as you get older if it doesn't get helped, that is something raw can and will NEVER fix
sad, it is true that people are very judgemental about food...i mean look what you just said about your friend. I try to just let others be themselves because I know raw vegan doesn't work for everybody in the world. i try to keep an open mind because that is what i wish of others. how can i make fun of their food and not expect them to make fun of mine?
all the best,
JHB
