View Full Version : Early observation on raw food eating..

Hey. I've been eating raw food at about 99% for the past week or so. Lots of green smoothies (kale, spinach, celery + lots of yummy fruits), sunflower seeds, raw honey, and a few almonds sprouted here and there.

My first observations are as follows:

1) Better hydration: My skin seems tighter as it appears that I am no longer retaining water. Also, never really thirsty...

2) More even energy levels. Never really get tired... and it seems to be that I never really have a desire to sleep.. which makes going to bed tough.

3) More healthy skin complexion. My skin just looks more healthy and less sickly/pale.

4) Less hunger... and when I DO get hungry, it's more of a gnawing feeling than anything. No ravenous urges like I had before. (.. and I was already on a whole foods diet with no processed stuff).

So far so good. I'm beginning to like this type of eating. Leaves more time to focus on the important things that need to get done, and being a college student, there are many important things, like finals week :)
