I had a major craving for cilantro today, and I'm normally not too crazy about it. So I listened to my body and got it cilantro which I turned into a kinda pesto.

What could this craving be? What is cilantro good for?

The other day I had a scratchy throat for the day, I thought I was going to catch hubby's cold he's been carring around for almost 2 weeks but it never happened. My body did what it was supposed to and got rid of it...YAY!

Thanks for any info you can share.

I used to work at a health food store and had a training with one of the vendors, Herb's of Light. Dean Martins is the owner of that company and is a rawfoodist and is very knowledgable... anyway, I learned from him that cilantro is good for cleansing mercury from the body. Did you used to eat fish?

Thanks for this - I have been majorly jonesing for guacamole with tons of cilantro for days - and I have those silver amalgam fillings - so this is GREAT, I can let my body talk - it really does know what I should eat. grin
Best,
LN

Cilantro is wonderful for cleaning out heavy metals out of your body!

Blessings.

I just had a big run in with the mercury monster- (I had 4 mercury fillings removed last week), so will dried cilantro work too or fresh only?

I'm lucky, I have never had a cavity so no fillings! I read about cilantro and metal, but can't figure out where I fall in. As far as fish I used to eat wild salmon 3 months ago, and before that I ate farm raised salmon. Could my body be cleaning itself from the mercury in the salmon after that length of time has passed since eating it?
