Hi I was born with Cone Dystrophy and Congenital Nystagmus. they also cause me to have other problems. I'm also Short Sighted, Photophobic (the thing I hate the most), fully Colourblind, Astigmatism and i suffer from migranes. I'm about 50% raw atm, but as i've said in previous posts can't give up certain things like Tea, Bread, Beer etc. My eyesight has been stable from birth, but I've only recently gone on this raw food journey. Am i being impatient? Am I being overoptimistic when I think my eyesight will improve through raw food?

Has anyone had any experience with this and has anyone themselves improved their eyesight through this way of life?

As you can all understand when i read that this diet could possibly help with my vision problems I got a bit excited and it almost brought me to tears because I've been suffering from this all my life. I can't drive, struggle to see at all in the sunlight without sunglasses (and i know they're not good for me to wear) and its very depressing to see my friends and family do things that i'd love to be able to do.

If anyone can help then that would be great.

.... as i've said in previous posts can't give up certain things like Tea, Bread, Beer etc.

First, might consider changing your wording from "can't" to "wont".

Question for you is ~ how bad do you want to see? What are you willing to do for it?

Many folk who began this journey had health issues and went into it totally. Some had the results they wanted; others didn't.

My suggestion ~ One day at a time; 100 % and be the example we can all talk about. We had one here who healed her life-time thyroid problem. She jumped in and did it with no one telling her they did it before her.

I interviewed two men who eliminated over 200 pounds each on raw. One in two years; one in one.

I know folk who've healed themselves of cancer using this food program.

Don't wait for others to say "I've done it!".... although, it's encouraging... be the one!

I did read a post on another forum by someone who had seen vast improvements in their eyesight.
