View Full Version : Hurom Juicer - need new basket part

I bought the Hurom HU-100 Slow Juicer in May this year, but the strainer basket has already cracked and come apart! Anybody know where I can get a new one? Would it still be under warranty?

I bought it from Amazon but they don't show any parts being sold separately.

we bought one in april and are on our 3rd new basket
ur hurom parts are under warranty get in touch with who sold it if it was not a co i would try and find out who sells it we are in uk and have had our basket replaced without a problem co called vitality 4 life
good luck
they have said they have changed the way its made so hopefully it will be better part

I posted the contact info for the hurom juicing people here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it ... and yes,they will send a new basket free.

I emailed Matt Monarch at Raw Food World for help. Mark, in customer care there responded instantly -- gave me this information regarding Hurom support.

The only thing that has changed is the group that is in charge of customer support.

I have spoken with the new customer support people. I talked with Frances. She was most helpful. The only thing that has changed is the group that is managing the support. So, the warranty is good.

I reported to them that the phone contact on their website is incorrect, so they said they would update it. They are aware of a rumour that the company is not around and supporting products. It is not true. They are sending me a replacement white strainer basket this week.

we have been dealing with the co here in the uk
they have manufactured a new basket which is sturdier but also need to replace clear bowl as fitting is different we have asked for new parts but have been told need to pay extra 4 them
which is according to consumer direct against the law according to them the product is faulty we are on our 4th basket
so ask for the new parts not just the replacement part
hopefully they will comply

mtrose -- I know that Omega VRT (same basic product, different distributor) will provide the new heavy clear bowl and strainer under their warranty, but I don't know if the hurom folks will do the same.

Please let us know if Hurom will give you the new part.
