after almost 3 months full time on raw living food (wigmore style), my pH is horrible!!

i am living in a raw foods community. when i'm home, cooked vegan, my pH is easily in the mid 7s like it's supposed to be. i've been here for almost 3 months and my pH has ranged from 6.2-6.6 the last 2 months.

i have lost 10 lbs but i'm definitely not anywhere near as alkaline as i was at home on cooked vegan.

any idea what the trouble might be?

thanks!

Stress makes you acid, be careful with this.

If you are sick, it makes you acid also.

Detoxing will also make you acid

Keep doing what you are doing and take deep breath.

If you do green smoothie, it will restore your PH balance faster.

How do you test your ph levels?

How do you test your ph levels?

Litmus paper, found at better health food stores or online retailers. Victoria Butenko suggests testing both your saliva and your urine frequently. I've been meaning to get some of this, I'm really curious about my pH at this point in my raw journey!

Are you balancing your diet with alkalizing foods? Not all vegetarian foods are alkaline.

I try to stay away from acidic foods, even the fresh produce. We had gone to a Homeopathic Physician..he said to test urine & saliva.
