Why does no one answer the phone?

I tried to order Alissa's book/DVDs online, but her website won't accept my Canadian credit card. So, for the past 2 days, I've been trying to place an order by phone, but I keep the getting the machine and no one calls me back. Is this typical? I mean, I want the book, but what's up with the no customer service??

Sorry to be crabby...I've been looking forward to getting the book for a long time and am frustrated that I can't place my order. :mad:

Alissa is out of town just for 2 or 3 days Kris and will place your order ASAP I am sure. It is well worth the tiny wait of 2 days we can all assure you. The book is fabulous and so comprehensive. You will love it.

Haha, thanks SG. You know, this might be too much information, but I finally had a bm after almost 3 days of nothing (cause I had a bit of cooked this weekend and am paying for it!), and suddenly all crabbiness is gone. I think I need to head to the washroom before writing such grouchy posts! ;)

Alissa's site accepted my Irish Credit Card so there should be no reason why it would not accept yours, unless you Canadians are up to something that we do not know about.

No, I think the problem was because I was using my Canadian card but trying to ship to my parents' house in the States. I am very eager to get Alissa's book, but my mom has shown a bit of interest in this lifestyle, so I wanted to have the book shipped to her house so she would be forced to look at it and perhaps get inspired. Alas, my secret plan was foiled. I will just wait until Alissa returns and saves the day. :D

Sometimes you cant place an order if the address is different then where the credit card bills are going.

It has maybe happened to me once, sometimes they have a place to add a ship to address as well as a billing address.

And Yes, it could be because Alissa is out of town, I am really not sure how her site works. I would have to investigate it.
