Morning everyone, I've not been feeling well for the last 24hrs. Almost flu like symptoms even though I don't get the flu nor colds. I feel like I"ve been hit by a truck! I think I maybe detoxing and if that is the case, can anyone recommend what to eat until I get my appetite back. I'm still getting all the water in but I cannot look at a green smoothie right now! I brought some fruits with me to hopefully eat later. I have no appetite and the thought of food makes my stomach ill. I hope this passes so I can get back at it. I'm a yoga teacher and I have to keep teaching and carrying on. However, I do need to eat for energy which I'm lacking and can't seem to stomach anything. I've not visited the washroom in 2 days either! So I need something to help me eliminate! Sorry if the message is a bit much...thanks for suggestions...

Maybe your body just wants to take it easy with a water fast. Otherwise very light, easy foods like apples-whole or blended or melon. You can also slow down detox with fats. Though it's better to just ride it out if possible so you don't have many detox days.

I had a colonic done and went to bed early. Feeling much better. Still not on full food yet...soon.

Hope you feel better. Keep us posted. Does ginger sound good. Maybe apple and ginger with lots of water in a smoothie?

I also hope you feel well soon. If this can help you, i was very sick too in the beginning and lost weight rapidly but it all stabilized. I found out that i had leaky gut. I took therapeudic enzyme from Alissa's and i noticed a great deal of difference in no time. It is know to repair leaky guts.
It is hard to follow or listen what your body needs when you are sick this way, but do your best anyway to pay attention of what your body needs to smooth things out. This is how i figured out what works for me. I have to eat moderation now i seem to be able to eat more variety of food.
If you don't do green smoothie, start doing this, it restores balance so quickly.
Your body is very forgiving and it will get back on its feet.
