Congrats and now go meditate and come up with some names for you new additions.

Gaia is my vitamixer and Zeus is my retired dehydrator. He's about to be replaced with a newer sleeker stainless steel version that I might name Osiris or Geb. I'm such a cougar!

You're going to love both of these - having a high-speed blender(I have the Blend-tec myself and love it)and a dehydrator really opens up a lot of possibilities and makes things easier to boot. Wow - a 9-tray one! I've had my old 4-tray Excalibur since around 2000, when I bought it to dry fruit(hadn't really gotten into raw yet although I was interested). It wasn't until nearly 3 years ago that I finally got the Teflex sheets to go with it. That really made a difference as to what I could make - then I could get into various raw granolas, cookies, breads, crackers, and the like. That really makes a difference for making some filling foods that often even non-raw people like. My husband for instance, is more omnivorous(but to his credit DOES eat a lot of fresh foods)is addicted to my dehydrator granola, black sesame seed crackers and macaroons LOL!
Once you get into the swing of things with the dehydrator, you'll just about always have things on hand to eat, helping to ward off temptation to eat junk. Happy un-cooking!

Hi, LifeAgift :)

Which stainless are you getting? I'm looking into them, too.
Thanks!
