I have been doing 100% since I last slipped up and have felt great! Been losing weight, great skin, feeling good!

Yesterday, I was thrown a you're appreciated tea. From a group that I've been volunteering for. Unfortunately my friend who gave the tea doesn't really understand raw and insisted I eat at the tea. (I know I truly have a choice). Well, of course, there's just a bunch of junk there. But I did it. I ate the junk. I didn't overeat, but I did eat things with sugar.

I immediately got a headache and felt like I was thinking fuzzy. I went to bed at 8:30 last night and slept until 10:00 this morning. That's unheard of since i'm usually up between 4:00 and 5:00.

Now, today, I've been so emotional. I've felt so overwhelmed. I've cried much of the day. I can usually keep my busy life together, but not today. Anyway, all this background to ask, do you think my being so emotional is because of the way I ate yesterday?

I'm excited because RAW is really a lifestyle for me now. I found myself saying to my hubby and kids...I can't wait until tomorrow so I can go back to eating real food. LOVE IT!

I'd definitely say that the emotional rollercoaster, the fuzziness and the headache are due to eating what you ate. I used to experience a similar thing when I ate cooked food after an extended period of raw.

When I first experienced it, the change was simply stunning to me, especially the fuzziness in the head. I kept thinking about how this was me ALL THE TIME on cooked! And this from a person who prides herself on intelligence!

I've always been an up and down kind of person emotionally, now with a raw lifestyle the mountains have turned into molehills and are gently turning into rolling hills of happiness. :)

It is great that you are so positive about your future eating and this reinforced it for you.

Whenever I did that, same thing happened. I said to myself "they dont call it s.a.d. for nothing! Definitely the low energy food will drag you down.
