Hello!
I was hoping that some of you seasoned raw-fooders could give me some tips and recipes that are good for winter.
I live in Pennsylvania, and although it hasn't yet made the change over to winter, I know it's coming. Last year, I had a hard time eating as raw as possible (although I keep vegan) and wanted to prepare myself better this year.
Any advice, tips, and/or favorite recipes would be helpful!
Thanks!

Thick creamy soups are yummy during the winter months. Winter has officially arrived in Alberta Canada and I've been eating soups for weeks now! yummy!

get a dehydrator if you dont have one. just eat everything you usally eat but warm it up a little. pizzas, wraps, anything that comes to mind will take you there.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, how much can I warm up foods while eating raw?

If you don't have a dehydrator, you can warm food on the stove or in the oven. Use a low heat setting and take the food off as soon as it is warm to the touch. You can also warm foods in a crock pot or an electric skillet. My house is heated with hot water radiators and I've been known to warm food on the rads! :)

Some people say up to 115 degrees, some say up to 118 degrees......using a thermometer will help! ;)

Agreed. Epsom salts are a nice luxury. Stretching seems to acclimate the body to just about any (reasonable) indoor temperature.
Also, I tried some spice on my avocado today. I really like the curry blend I found at the market. Before today, I never noticed how I just like the spices, and I could really do without the cooked tomato and lentils.
