So I just got the results of an 88 panel allergy test. 62 positive of 88, including lots of fruit & veg. I feel sad. :( Too many of my staples are on the list. I don't experience any typical symptoms; no headaches, bloating, ibs, etc. Since letting go of dairy, wheat, processed sugar, etc, etc I haven't gotten sick! Over a year with even a cold!
I really want to be able to eat zucchini, tomatoes, carrots, dates! And a few others. And I've always felt fine when I have in the past. I take digestive enzyemes and betaine hydro. after every meal. Do you think this could be sufficient?
Any experience with this??!
Please help me keep my favorite foods!!

How bad are the allergies? Were you adviced to stay away from some of them completely?

It was an IgG test. Above 650 is high, my 'score' is 744.
tested High for;
casein, cottage cheese, egg white, mozzarella, Parmesan, swisscheese, yogurt, bakers yeast, pineapple

moderate for;
buttermilk, american cheese, cows & goats milk, whey, codfish, barley, *honey, white mushroom, *cashew, asparagus, green bean,* broccoli, *carrot, **date, iceburg, *kale, kiwi, green pea, **tomato, **zucchini

low for;
clam, tuna, wheat, wild rice, chicken, brewers yeast, coffee, safflower oil, peanut, pistachio, * Ginger, cayenne, Rosemary, *vanilla, apricot, **banana, soy bean, cantaloupe, *cauliflower, *celery, Chinese cabbage, **coconut, **cucumber, *eggplant, white grape, grapefruit, onion, peach, plum, potato, raspberry,**spinach

whew!! The ** represent the foods that are staples and favorites. I have no problems with the high catagory, I released those foods intuitivly long ago. I just want to eat an abundance of raw fruit & veg without issue. Is it odd that I present no symptoms when i eat these foods? My immune system is quite strong, I haven't gotten sick since releasing dairy, and I have a 3 year old that goes to preschool!

I have yet to meet with someone to talk about the results, they were just mailed yesterday.
Anyone have experience being 'cured' from food allergies?

Thanks!

I did a similar allergy test many years ago because my sisters were doing it so I went along.
They said that if you tested positive for something then you should give it up for a few months and then gradually add it back in and the chances were that you would have rid yourself of the allergy.
They then proceeded to tell me that I was allergic to things that I had not eaten for 30 years and even to things that I had never eaten in my life.
It did not make sense to me.

Update;
I gave up everything on my high list a LONG time ago.

This week I gave up everything on my moderate list. My skin seems to be improving. But I've also been 100/ raw for 47!! days. Not sure what is making the biggest difference. Not sure if it matters (although I'd love to eat dates again soon!!) I think being raw for this long is making the biggest difference.

I've got a lot of deep healing to do- thyroid, hormones, emotional. I feel that my skin will be one of the last things to heal. I'm beginning to be ok with that!:D

Update 2. Over ~150 100/ raw days!

so I avoid my high allergy foods all together - no problem. most moderates Too, but allow a few randomly in my diet. Certainly not everyday. Low allergy foods Ive found I can work around them. Some I eat without a second thought.
Mostly I LOVE what I eat, give it a little reiki ;) with my blessing. Digestive enzymes to supplement, just in case.

My skin- deep painful cysts have gotten better!!!

I don't notice any Reaction when I eat allergy foods. I'm going in 2 weeks to get my thyroid & hormone levels checked. I'll report back after. Now I haven't gotten my period in over 130 !! Days, so somethings still off. Hum?? Would love to get a period again!
