Hi all,
I'm restricted to only 1.7 cubic feet of fridge space so I'm looking into using "green bags" to hopefully extend the life of my produce. Has anyone tried them? Did they work well?
Thanks

I tried them and I was "underwhelmed". I'm not a fan; and they are a pain to wash/dry. JMPO, but save your money.

They work great for some fruits and veggies - I use them in the fridge with berries and greens, and on the counter with bananas.
Last year, my supermarket had a large display of Green Bags for $2.99 a box. I bought every single one and gave many away as gifts.
Turns out they were marked incorrectly - they are supposed to be $9.99 which is quite expensive. But for $2.99 a box, I think they're worth it!

I go through my fruits/veggies too fast to need the benefit of a green bag. However, if I have half an avocado, I will store it in a green bag. I found that if I don't, the avocado will turn brown fast. In the green bag, it stays fresh for the few hours or the next day when I will finish eating it. :)
