Does anyone have this??? Has anyone experience this?

I've noticed that lately that I get really full too easily now!!! Is it possible that my body is getting so nourished that my appetite is decreasing??? (I've been eating bascally 100% raw food for 2 1/2 years now)

I have to get used to this, since I'm still eating the same portions of raw food except that I feel so full afterward that my belly sticks out!! I'm gonna adjust my portions of raw food....

Gosh, I'm starting to feel like a kid who can't eat a full meal!!! Is my stomach shrinking or what? Is this normal?

Well, it's "The I overate kind of a bloated feeling". But I've noticed that my stomach is fine when I'm halfway eating my raw meals. So it's time to cut my raw meals in half. Plus my stomach goes back to normal/flat in about an hour.

I'm thinking that my body is no longer starving for vitamins, minerals, and nutrition as it was before. Seems that my body is happy with half of my raw meals these days. Plus I've been doing a parasite cleanse for a month now and continuing for another two months which I think it's making a difference so far that my body is not competing for food. And on top of that I've been fasting once a week as well.

Wouldn't it be so cool to look so healthy, vibrant, muscular and radiant that the body has fully stored up on vitamins and minerals to where eating that much on 100% raw food diet really isn't necessary on a daily basic? Is that even possible?

I am with you on this. I panic a little sometimes that I may not be getting enough but I am literally force feeding myself. I do not want any more.

why would you do a parasite cleanse when you're on raw? your body shouldn't need anymore cleansing.

And no it's not possible to have certain vitamins and minerals stored up. There are certain vitamins that are stored, and others you have to eat to get them. And your body isn't thriving off of the vitamins and minerals, not that they aren't necessary.. but you body needs the food because of calories for energy.

sport ~ Sounds like you've been raw long enough. Maybe longer than I have been? It would make sense if long term raw foodies don't eat alot like they did in the beginning? But I need to find out if that is a fact or not. It's just a theory for now....

renerdrat ~ I do believe that my body was pretty deprived of vitamins and minerals no matter how well I ate on the SAD diet. When I went raw, my body just kept wanting more and more of raw food all the time for quite a while to repair, heal, and get back on track to the "normal" way of how my body really should function. My body had a lot of healing to do, Now, I really can just cut back on some of my portions, because my body seems to be truly satisfied.

I believe that everyone (raw or not) really should do a parasite cleanse once or twice a year, This is my first cleanse and will do it once or twice every year just because it's a smart thing to do for my health.

It just crazy, because I really do eat alot of raw food!!! In a way, I still want to eat alot of raw food, but my body saying, "I had enough and I'm very full now, thank you very much!!!" :D

well yeah I think everyone is different, and probably going raw your body is absorbing the food more efficiently. Plus none of the food you're eating is going to harmful things that I think many normal eaters have living inside them like bad bacteria and parasites, fungal, and candida.

So.. I wouldn't worry SO much about eating how much you're suppose to, and just eat until you feel satisfied, and eat when you feel the need. I think our bodies will naturally tell us when we need more or less food.

Then again I could be wrong lol, I am not an expert.

Thanks renerdrat!

It could also mean that my body may want to fast for a longer period of time, longer than one day which I have been doing lately.

I have heard that eating less is better for and easier on the digestion anyways.

Anyways, cheers to my body knowing what to do on raw food!! :)

I'm just amazed how the body can be such a durable amazing healing machine and so thankful that I have the chance to let it be so!!!

Be good to yourself and have a loving attitude about the self!!

I've been 100% raw since January and have found right from the start that I can't eat as much as I used to when I was eating foods that are unhealthy for me. I used to not think twice about getting a second serving of pasta or chocolate cake...and still want more afterward! Yet I fill up very quickly on raw, but I think I'm getting enough to eat because I'm feeling good...great in fact. I do tend to sometimes get hungry about an hour or two hours after I eat, but then I just grab something...a cucumber, some tomato or a bit of fruit. I suppose I can force myself to eat more in one sitting, but I just don't want to. I don't like that "oh my goodness I'm stuffed after Thanksgiving dinner" feeling. So in essence, I eat many small meals during the course of the day and that works just fine for me. I'm learning to listen to my body and right now that's what it's telling me to do...eat healthy, eat often. :)

I am no longer going to worry about not getting enough calories. It is a scientific fact that people on calorie restricted diets are healthy. I am going to eat as much as I can and if I do not get 2000 calories every day I am not going to fret about it.

Here's what I've decided to do for now.

For the past two days, I've been drinking a small glass of water mixed with a spoon of AVC before I eat my meals. That way I don't feel stuffed after I eat and so far it's been helping. I've been cutting back on my portions as well. I'm not gonna worry about it either, If my tummy is satisfied, then so be it.
