Water Fasting

Hey everyone

I've been struggling to stick to my fasts these past couple weeks. I know its what I want to do, I know it will be such a good experience.

I have decided to stick to water fasting, I will be able to get rest this next month, (no work or school).

Anyways, Im starting tomorrow and am going to update this everyday. I want to share my experience with anyone who needs the inspiration or encouragement to continue with their fast.

Im on Day 2 of my fast!

Im feeling tired, mostly just sluggish. My tongue is a little coated as well. I know this is normal and I'll start to feel better soon.

Sorry, this update is so short, but theres not much to say, I've been resting and taking it easy, thats what fasting is for!

Day 3 everyone!

I am so tired! When do you all think I will gain some energy??

My tongue is really coated today too, its so gross but again I know this will go away!

I know all I've lost is water weight, but I feel good. My hands had been retaining water before.

I've noticed every time I fast I try to convince myself that fasting isnt neccessary and I can become healthy other ways. While I know exercise and eating right is the only way to keep a healthy lifestyle, I want to start fresh and thats why Im fasting. My first goal is to go 10 days, and then i'll decided what to do.

I had more energy around day 7 I believe... but honestly... water fasting isn't about having energy for anything other than healing and cleansing. Resting is the best way to water fast.
