Hey everyone, my name is Michelle and it's nice to be here.
Last summer I decided to go raw after watching several raw foodists on YouTube talk about their journey and felt inspired. Going raw not only improved my skin condition, helped me lose weight, but I noticed I became more outgoing and confident.
It wasn't until early September that I cracked due to emotional reasons. Being an emotional girl, I lost control of myself and stopped eating raw, gaining almost all the weight back, and well, have felt miserable ever since.
Eating raw, or at least 80%, makes a lot of sense to me. After all, we are designed to consume live foods since we are live species. Cooked food is becoming less attractive to me, plus I notice when I use to eat live foods I was able to control my portion sizes, plus I was able not to worry or obsess about food. Now since I am eating a lot of cooked food, all I can think about it what my next meal will be, what I should prepare, etc. Before I was more calm and realized the amazing bountiful choices I had eating.
So I want to say a big "hello!" to you all and am asking for your support, guidance and friendship. Sometimes I feel very "alone" on my path/process because it is quite different and would like to have some friends/pen pals to communicate with as a way of support.
