Hi everyone!
I'm Andrea. I've been vegetarian for a year, and I recently transitioned into being a 90% raw vegan.
On days when I don't exercise, raw veganism works wonderfully for me. However, when I train (about 3-4 days a week), I find that I get tired more easily. I'm into MMA, and sometimes, training lasts up to 6 hours a day. I'm loving the raw vegan diet and it's effects on my daily energy level and skin. But I don't want my strength and cardio skills to go down.
Any tips? Am I not eating enough?
Thanks, guys! Your help will be highly appreciated.

Not enough information. We don't know what you're eating or anything else.

There are lots of Raw Vegan athletes who blog. You should read up on what some of them are doing and follow it. Some are running marathons.

@Revvel
Oh, my mistake!:) On a training day I typically eat:
Breakfast:
About a pound of greens/salad
A couple of bananas
A glass of carrot juice
A smoothie (with romaine and fruits usually-sometimes with a shot of wheatgrass) and a handful of nuts just before training
After training I eat:
Sweet potatoes
Coconut water
about half a pound of mixed fruit OR half a pound of green salad.
Sometime, late evening I make myself a another smoothie.
I always have a bag of almonds/walnuts/dried fruit and a couple of fresh fruits with me and I go ahead and eat whenever I feel hungry in the middle of the day.
In the middle of training, I sometimes drink fresh fruit juice just to get my sugar levels up.
What do you think?

Sounds great! Will try to follow. Are you following any particular ones you recommend?

I am a 58 year old granny that does not actually partake in any sports but I do know of some from reading other posts so will come back at you with some suggestions.

Wow, I thought I was going to be the only one on this site that trains MMA. Right now I am doing Crossfit and MMA, like you 3-4 days a week. 6 hours a day is very extreme unless you are training to be a professional fighter. If your problem is energy then what I have been doing for approximately a month now is drinking Green Tea cold in purified/filtered water. This is because I use to take many pre-workout energy supplements in the past like, Jacked3D, Purple Wrath and Assault to get me through my workouts. They have NO and many other stimulants in them, to which I relied on. Almost like a placebo. Mentally I could not workout without an energy drink to sip throughout. Green Tea has been working for me with a packet of Stevia to sweeten it up. I guess I could add some NO for that added pump through my veins, but it has not been needed yet. Bye the way what are you training for 6 hours? That is really extreme. Many pro-fighters in my gym are training 2 hours in the morning and then 2 hours in the early evening. Also, have you tried Crossfit? All of the fighters from my gym do it and it is a kick in the you know what. A very tough workout no matter how fit one may think they are. Good luck in your training.

I don't see pure water on your list. If you're not doing so, add about 4, 16 oz. glasses a day. First thing when you get up, then 3 more during.
Yeah, 6 hours a day does sound like quite a bit. The most I've done is um, 5. lol and that was 5-7 days a week...
My friends have trained 1600+ days straight but, not usually for that long. I'm trying to get my friend to let me put up her pics so you can really see her body and her strength. In the meantime... check her out here. (http://www.youtube.com/user/CoachTara) She's high raw vegan and uses no stimulants whatsoever including caffeine ~ which is in green tea btw.

Jake Shields is a mma fighter that is vegetarian. I actually thought he was vegan. But anyhow I didn't look much into him I just recall seeing this video a couple days ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46JdIS64U3s BTW there is some animal slaughter houses being shown in this video. So don't watch, if you don't want to see that. But you could always open the video and just listen to him talk?
There's also some good links in the title of that video. Maybe it'll help....?

I would highly recommend using the cronometer and putting in exactly what you eat by weighing your food first. Not only will you know the exact nutrients youre getting but also the calories. Since you are a serious athlete, you will need a serious abundance of food and the easiest fuel is fruit.
