Love it! 2 cups a day! Is that too much or not enough? I really love this stuff its what I have for breakfast and an evening snack too. I heard tho that too much can be bad for you. I also use it to keep my eyes healthy as possible as i've been born with several vision imparments.

Who is to say if something is enough or not for another person? No one here.
My suggestion, get some of Norman W. Walker's books. He was a HUGE advocate of carrot juice.

Carrot juice is very concentrated sugar and will give you a sugar high.

i've never heard of too much... so i can't really answer this for you. but i can't imagine that 2 cups could harm you at all. makes no sense to me...
i do way more juice than that daily... and i'm totally into not doing a huge variety of juices and my health increases on a continual basis.

hmmmm i don't know about that (drinking a mere cup twice a day). but if he's concerned... you could simply add in some greens, cucumber and/or celery.

mmmmmmmmmm have you tried it combined with cellery ?my oh my its like a double treat :)
your body will let you know when you have had enough.
remember to drink it slowly and wash it around your mouth before you swallow.

Unless you are diabetic, drink away. I love to juice raw gingerroot with my carrot juice. I usually drink 3 (8oz) glasses a day but feel free to do more. Make carrot the base and juice greens or any other veggies you like with it. Greens are very strong so if you juice them alone use only about 4 ozs at one shot.
Beets are also VERY strong and should be mixed with carrot juice. Use only about 2 ozs of beet juice. Great liver cleanser.

I've tried it with celery, ginger, cucumber and also spinach. All work very well for me. I think its great after the gym alongside a salad.

oh and just to put it into perspective for ya James.
while fasting... we may consume up to 8 litres of juice in one day. not often... but some days our body asks for that much. a litre is 4 cups.
a normal fasting day though consists of 2-4 litres of juice and often we'll so mono juices. ;)

If your skin starts to turn orange, that is too much. :)
I wish I could drink that much carrot juice! I'm one of those that has a problem with low blood sugar blues within a few hours of eating or drinking a lot of fruit sugars.

Actually this has happened to me but its harmless. Its just the excess blood carotene levels in the skin. It is NOT jaundice as some people might think. And, it is not associated with increased levels of vitamin A and toxicity. If you don't like the color just reduce the amount of carrot juice. :)

According to N. W. Walker, when your skin turns orange, it means your liver is detoxing. Skin doesn't turn green from "too many" greens.

Too much carrot juice gave me diarrhea for the first 2 days of drinking lots of it. Not saying that is a bad thing, just an inconvenience.

Mmmmm carrots are my fave thing to juice because they are so cheap (and tasty)!
My two recipes that I usually use:
Carrot-orange-ginger
5 carrots
2 oranges
small hunk of ginger
Carrot-beet-kale:
5 carrots
1 big beet
huge handful of kale
I agree with everyone else, only you can decide how much is too much. Although you might want to slow down if you start turning orange, lol.

Carrot juice is yummm! Celery and ginger make it yummier!
Drink what your body wants!
Add some mesquite and stir, as it balances blood sugar!
