View Full Version : Repressed Emotions + Detox

I go on and off, on and off high raw back and forth constantly but rarely am I ever 100%. Just by chance I've been full raw for the past 3 days and suddenly, events and memories from the past are taking drastic toll on me. Emotions I knowingly repressed, emotions that I didn't repress, and emotions over situations that I didn't even know had any effect on me are all flooring me at the moment, all the way back from when I was 5 years old :eek:
I have repressed many if not all of my feelings, both joyful and saddening, for most of my life. I'm terrified of this sudden broken floodgate, and this startling release of emotions... I almost broke down on the bus, about a distanced friend from years and years ago! This is a good thing, right?! Did anybody else experience this?

Is being terrified good? No, not really. Breaking down on the bus? Well, sure, why not. Expressing and experiencing human emotions will make others uncomfortable yet, it's a good thing to be able to do. That's what makes us human ~ and real. :)

just let them surface and then let them go.allow tears to wash them away if you need,its ok,it gets better.

I am so sorry. You are going through an emotional detox, you will feel better soon. Raw food bring up to life all the dead emotions that were berried.
It is all good, it will fade away and heal. You don't want that nasty stuff in you. Negative Emotions does affect our health in a negative way that we suppress them or not. You may want to seek to do yoga or some sort breathing exercise or taking nice walk in nature or even doing a natural therapy healing, a nice Epsom bath is very grounding and somehow help to relax, you can add some nice herbs or essential oil. Remember that those emotions aren't you, you are whole, perfect and complete. Just acknowledge they are there but don't make them be you, observe them as you are watching a movie while you are remembering that you are worthy and loved. They are shadow that seek to heal. Breath them out with your breath and breath in nice positive affirmation about you.
Breath and breath. Intent to breath in balance / health and whatever a nice thing come to you, then breath out the negativity. Breath in love, breath out fear.
