Hi just wanted to know if others have had the same experience as me, or what im hopefully about to go through lol
I have been on and off raw for a couple of years now the longest i managed to stay 95% raw was just over 5 months. Although i have been back and forth realistically i know this is the best diet for my body and for my mental health compared to every diet i have ever been on. whenever i have been raw has been the best time of my life and i have not been an emotional and physical wreck like the other time. Since going raw the first time (as im sure your aware) i have become much more intune with my body, even when eating 'healthy' cooked food i get to a certain point were by body says NO MORE and then i go raw again. But I am adamant about sticking this time, I do not like who i am or how i feel on all the other diets.
So i did a little research on sticking to raw diets, the first times i searched i found lots of info on keeping your raw food like the cooked food you ate so that it at least resembles something like you miss eating thus wont miss eating it. Im not saying what i am about to say is true for everybody, but i am just wondering if people have found the same things as me and maybe in the future i will go back to combining raw foods, not saying i will mono eat forever.
But this time i read more on mono eating and decided to give it a try, i then found a youtube video and website of a girl who eats 30-50 bananas a day(she does eat other things but mainly mono eats) and previously failing to stick to a raw diet has managed to stick to being raw for 2-3 years. she is one of the healthiest looking people i have seen as of yet.
When i ate combined raw food i experienced headaches, i craved cooked food alot more, i thought about food alot more, i would never feel satisfied even though i was full if that makes sense, i also had a couple of cases of to put it nicely confined to the house by my bowels, i also felt dizzy alot. now when i look back i ate a 'balanced' raw diet rather than just eating what i felt like because i was worried something would go..wrong. I will point out also that i followed a raw food combing chart most the time.
Now i have only been mono eating for a few days, some may laugh but i have been raw before so now how i felt the other days back eating raw food etc but i have had minimal detox symptoms compared to normal, still it is early days so i was just wondering about others experiences of mono eating vs combining raw foods. If you only ever crave fruit and very rarely crave greens, do you think you will become ill? At the moment i just think aslong as im eating raw it is better than eating cooked food, feeling ill combining or eating as least as possible so i dont feel 'ill' but then feeling dizzy and no energy.
I hardly ever crave greens. unless celery counts as a green seen as its green ha. but spinich, kale and sproating seeds i would just about force myself to eat, the same with most other seeds( unless combined with garlic and lemon juice to make a dip or cheeze, if eating out the packet i could only manage about 5) and alot of the raw powders.
Look forward to hearing from you all
