Help, I need to decide which model to order.
I'm still not sure what the DRY Container does exclusively that the WET Container CANNOT do - to warrant spending the extra $125-$150 - but it sure sounds pretty cool!
one can spend around $349. - for the tried and true 4500 MODEL, which is a wet container, blade and base + (w/ 5 yr. warranty)...
<or>
the SUPER 5000 MODEL (w/ 7 yr. warranty) for $499. which is the same as the 4500, but adds a whole other container and blade for "dry" ingredients, which you can make bread flour with and I don't know what else - ?
I called Vitamix, and the sales person is not familiar with raw cuisine- so she could not tell me specifically what I would use the dry container for besides SAD bread recipes.
Also, someone said that - as a raw foodist - the dry container might sit on the shelf and gather dust...
I think some of you use this additional dry container with special blade- can anyone tell me how it is useful and worth the money for a raw person.
thanks kindly~
