I feel silly asking this but here I go anyway.

The recipes in her book- are they recipe's for one person? If I were to be making something for two people (my husband and I) should I be doubling????

Thanks.

Totally depends. Look on the amount of food in the recipe... Think of 1 cup as a small serving, and go from there. So if something calls for 3 cups of this, 1 cup of that, you know it will make more than 1 serving.

That's simplistic, I know... but that's the way I do it when I'm looking at new recipes. It really helps. :)

You gonna take pictures and show us what yer makin'?!?!

For the most part, I believe they are recipes for more than one, although it may vary. You'll have to be the judge of how much you want/need to eat. You will quickly get a handle on quantity after you've done RAW for awhile.

That is one of the improvements in the new book, it does list serving size. But that too will not be perfect for everyone any more than in a regular recipe book.

Thanks Eva and k8sl8 . Some things I could kinda tell had more but wasn't sure. So thanks for the info- it was helpful!

Im still in the research phase. I *just* finished reading her book so I have a better understanding but was confused about the recipe thing lol. I'm hoping to start this whole raw thing this weekend :) While researching I have cut back on things- like not eating meat and eating lots more fruits and veggies. Now I need to go shopping and get "basics" stocked up in my kitchen.

I'm very excited!

I find that her recipes are A LOT of food.... I usually half them and still have plenty, but I am usually uncooking just for me.

You are soooo lucky! Hug that man extra big for me! Some of 'em aren't. :) You have us here *waves*, a supportive hubby, Alissa's book.

You are SET! :D
