to say that some of my good eating habits have rubbed off onto my oldest daughter. :) I have never "made" my family eat raw. However, set the example and they'll be drawn in. LOL :D
Tonight my daughter (15) made the comment that she doesn't feel as healthy as she used too. That she should exercise more. I brought up that she exercises 2 hours each day at cheerleading practice and does her own stretch/strength training at home in the evenings. I asked her if she really thought she needed more exercise?!?! She said no, but she's not feeling very healthy.
I smiled and asked her if she ever ate the veggies and fruit that I "ALWAYS" recommend first. She smiled and said no. I told her that I always have them in the house. Always. That they should be her first choice.
Instead of a second piece of pizza, she opted for a bag of raw green pepper slices with dip and a bowl of peas. :p Then she asked if she could have a raw smoothie with me in the morning.
Ahhhhh...does life get any better than that?!?!?! I think not!
Eating raw rawks...and eventually everyone will agree with us.

That's great! I love how my raw influence has rubbed off on some of my friends as well. Of course, I can never stay as raw as I'd like, but every little bit helps.

ya that's cool.
I wouldn't say I would be as happy as you are lol.

I feel like those that aren't eating healthy, are just missing out.

My son now lives out of town but when he comes on the weekends he is more likely then not to ask for one of MOM's home made smoothies :)

Shel... I couldn't be happier for the two of you. I remember how I felt when my daughter made the choice to change her eating habits/choices. It blissed me out for weeks!
