to say that some of my good eating habits have rubbed off onto my oldest daughter. :) I have never "made" my family eat raw. However, set the example and they'll be drawn in. LOL :D
Tonight my daughter (15) made the comment that she doesn't feel as healthy as she used too. That she should exercise more. I brought up that she exercises 2 hours each day at cheerleading practice and does her own stretch/strength training at home in the evenings. I asked her if she really thought she needed more exercise?!?! She said no, but she's not feeling very healthy.
I smiled and asked her if she ever ate the veggies and fruit that I "ALWAYS" recommend first. She smiled and said no. I told her that I always have them in the house. Always. That they should be her first choice.
Instead of a second piece of pizza, she opted for a bag of raw green pepper slices with dip and a bowl of peas. :p Then she asked if she could have a raw smoothie with me in the morning.
Ahhhhh...does life get any better than that?!?!?! I think not!
Eating raw rawks...and eventually everyone will agree with us.
