...100% raw! Notice I say would have. I weakend last night and met my hubby for a mexican dinner. Gulp! Today I woke up with a major, major, major headache! Last night I told hubby that I couldn't stick another veggie or fruit in my mouth and was starving. Hubby did everything he could to try to talk me out of it, but left it up to me and I failed.
But there's hope to this story. I found out that I really do want to be healthy and not put that cr*p in my body any more.
So back to it today!
Have any of you ever felt like you just couldn't stick another veggie or fruit in? What do you do when that happens?

Good for you to get back to it right away!! There's no sense getting frustrated with yourself.

Either green smoothies or a day of water fasting will set me straight. Junk food is a powerful addiction.

you didn't fail at anything. how do you know what you want if you don't try different things?
you succeeded in realizing that you do not to make that choice again.
i'd say you won!!!

Agreed, Aleesha!
If I feel like I can't do more fruits and veg (this is pretty rare as there is SUCH a wide variety....If I'm stuck in a rut with apples, banannas, and kale, then maybe I want some butternut squash, or some jicama, or a salad with fresh mint and cilantro and tomato.... You get my point!)
Ok, back to the original point. If I *really* don't want fruit or veggies, I might make a raw recipe that "mocks" something cooked, OR, I might eat some steamed quinoa, lentils, or other beans. I usually make something like a "zen bowl" with steamed grain/legumes, raw veggies, and a raw sauce. I'd much rather do that than set myself up for a binge by forcing myself to be 100% raw when my body doesn't want that.

when i can't eat another veg or fruit... i fast. i find that by doing even a short three day fast my interest in fruits and veggies increases!

Maybe you want to make one or two days without eating ?

Its all an addiction. Being 100% raw is very hard. Being even 75% or even 50% can be very hard too. The fact you were raw for so long previous was success, and the fact you are starting up again is success. I have those same moments you just had some of the time.
Its all an addiction. But just because you screw up once or 10 times you can always keep going. You can't expect to be perfect. These slip-ups are all part of the process. Sooner or later these food addictions lose their grip on you. Every so often I feel we need to have a few slip-ups to prevent a binge, especially since raw food might be fairly new to you.
I was a SAD eater my whole life and dove right into raw. Never a vegetarian or vegan. So this is a huge transition. Just remember the same for yourself.
