Okay
so I'm 15
been writing alot
I was raw for about two months
then I just had a horrible day and fell off about two weeks ago
didn't feel very bad about and was determined to get back on the next day
it was way harder than when I started off
I still can't get back on
I go a day or two then fall off
it makes me angry
I'm not happy
it was not this hard before
I don't know why
I guess I just have to make myself do this
I know if I get past a week I'll make it
any advice other than that?

Also. I've been wondering. How many are 100% raw.
I've been thinking about, after a couple of months of 100%(when I'm back on) about trying some cooked food. Like Legumes and Grains. And I'd love to try nutritional yeast in recipes.
But if you are not 100%, what are your favorite legumes and grains. And how do you cook them?
And for everybody, 100% or not, what's your favorite raw food product? I've found this local health food store that is small and not known but has pretty much everything raw, which is a surprise because I live in a small southeast Texas town. So I wanna try some things.
And AGAIN for everybody, when you first tried Kale, did you like it? When I first tried it I did not like it much. And for those who didn't like it, how long did it take you to warm up to it, if you did.

Tastebuds change every 30 days. You will get used to greens. Calcium is usually sweet, so if your veggies taste too bitter, it is because they are de-mineralized!

As far as getting back on, remember how you felt when you ate green smoothies every day! I let "sushi" get me off once, and I have regretted it ever since! My medical crisis was NOT worth getting off raw! And medical bills are more expensive (and worthless, since doctors cure nothing) than simply buying organic! :(

I forgot to mention, it's usually Cheese.
I could be in class, and start thinking about cheese.
And my family is Italian. So when I go home, what do I see? Cheese.
It's not really physical. It's emotional. And I just love cheese. That's why I kinda wanna try the yeast.

I think raw cheese is the answer more than yeast, which personally I don't find tastes like cheese nor is it the best for your health.

Cheddar Cheese Sauce
1 sm Red Bell Pepper, chop or blend 1st
1 cup Cashews, soaked
½-1 tsp Salt
2 Tbs Lemon or Lime juice
Cayenne or Jalapeno pepper
Blend. Chill to get thicker. Spread on tomatoes, crackers or other.
To make hard cheese, add Irish moss.

Cashew Cheese Spread (spicy cream cheese)
½ cup Cashews, soaked
1-2 Garlic cloves
¼ cup Lemon juice or ¼-½ tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Dash Salt
¼ cup Water
Optional: Cayenne powder
Blend.

I'm having the same issues. I've been on and off with raw food diet. I really want to stay on RAW but sometimes I just slipped. Below are some of the tips that I got from this forum:
1. having a journal- it's a form of motivation and reminds you of your goals
2. when the swaying moment comes, ask yourself- is it worth it? (and the answer is a BIG no)
3. fill your thoughts with the positive results of having raw food diet
4. always go back to this forum and get inspired!:D
