Oil pulling, how exactly is it done?

Hi,

I'm just reading about Oil Pulling. I've never heard of it before today. What exactly is it?

Is it just putting a tablespoon of Olive Oil or Sesame Oil in your mouth and swishing it around for 5 minutes?

What about brushing your teeth, do you do it before or after it? How often are you supposed to do Oil Pulling to see good results?

I have serious hip pain, lasting effects from chemo. I've tried Udo's Oil in my juices and on my dinners but that doesn't seem to be working.

Oil pulling needs to be done on an empty stomach and for 20 minutes and not 5.
Could I suggest that you try astaxanthin for the hip pain. It works on my osteoarthritis. It will not do any harm to try as it is just a micro algae super antioxident.

Sporty, where can I buy astaxanthin? The hip pain is like a grinding pain and is only there about 3 months (finished chemo last Sept). Doctors are just saying "time" will heal it but I'm not willing to just sit back and wait for it to happen. My breathing is also really bad and again, doctors are more or less fobbing it off.

I'll give the swishing a go anyway, starting tomorrow morning before my 8am dentist appt
