Banana Collard Wrap [Archive]

So funny! When I first started reading posts from this site, a found a couple people suggest eating a leafy green "burrito" with a banana as the filler. When I first read that, I thought it was crazy! And now...that's right, I eat it all the time! I take a collard leaf, cut off the tough stem, smear almond butter over the leaf, place a banana on top, sprinkle cinnamon and cayenne on top and roll that burrito up. Sometimes I'll add baby spinach too. It's quick, easy, filling, and quite tasty...especially if the banana is on the ripe side. Wow, have my taste buds changed~ :cool:

I've tried that many times, with many different kinds of fruits, but I still don't like it. I'd rather eat them separately.
I love green wraps with savory fillings though.

Don't think I could try that one lol It's great that you found something you really enjoy. Maybe one day I'll try it. :D

Sounds like a healthy, raw version of a "monkey sandwich" - peanut butter and banana!

I've not tried collards raw yet, but I more or less grew up on them cooked. I think they'd be good raw too.

Hooray for science! I cannot eat bananas. Candida infection! Werd to the Walnut meat, tho!

I agree he is handsome:D and I love his energy in his videos. I just want to roll up where he is camping and have some juice with him lol.
