well it looks like I might be a candidate... for candida?

well I've been eating a lot, but unfortunately I've not been having a lot of the sprouts in hand so I've been relying a lot on fruit to get through the day, but have been needing to cut that down. especially for the smoothies. I'm realizing now that as I'm reading the symptoms of candida overgrowth it fits me quite closely... especially as regards feeling fatigue even though I eat lots of carbs, it might be the wrong type, ie sugars, simple sugars. and high glycemic. My stomach would be full and my head specifically would feel like it's out of glucose, I get head rushes when I do exercise.. like I need iron but I already do take iron supplements, so I know that's not it. I get pretty much everything I need. yet I still feel tired, at least in my head.

do you add a little citrus every time you have greens? my iron was dangerously low and that's what i did and within 6 months my levels were high!

In regards to the candida... ME, TOO!!! Though in my case there is no maybe about it. Check my last two blogs to find out how I'm dealing with it. Now that I've been "diagnosed" and I've read about all the symptoms, I know I've had it for years, maybe decades. In the past I've had every kind of cream and pill the medical industry has to offer. They worked, but only for a short time. I don't expect this time to be a quick fix. I am looking for a permanent solution.

Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions. :)

well.. I am a male so don't let that throw you off. But I feel this is a concern because I just feel like it's something that should be kept in check, I've noticed that the more I eat fruit the less I'm able to digest things well, yet at the same time I don't have enough energy.

Okay, good to know you are male. What I have now is an overgrowth of candida in the digestive tract. If you want to get tested, there are tests that can be done by a naturopathic doctor. Might be good to confirm or eliminate it as a concern. I'm a believer in following your feelings. Men have intuition, too. ;)
