Hey Guys,
I just got some Organic Vanilla Extract (no preservatives etc) and it doesn't say anything about refrigerating it or keeping it at room temperature. I can't seem to find a straight answer for this. I would like to know how you guys store it?

Most natural vanilla extracts contain quite a bit of alcohol, so this usually means they don't need to be stored in the fridge. Check the label.
I don't know for sure, I just use vanilla beans.

If it's the powder then I wouldn't store it in the fridge since vanilla will loose its aroma if stored too cold (the same goes for whole beans). Just use an air tight container and preferably store it in a cool (but not cold) dark place.
Not all liquid extracts contain alcohol, but I doubt that any of them need to be stored in the fridge. If that had been the case then it would most likely say so on the label.

Thanks guys. It just got confusing when it didn't say either/or.
