So, on the days when I am fully raw (more often than not) I eat a ton  of food! I'm ok with that. I tell myself, "wow my body is loving raw and wants more". My weight is not an issue, but eating habits have been. Maybe a self control issue? I want to be sure I eat enough so I don't slip.
I juice fast every Wednesday, and every 3months for 10 days. I feel great when I'm fasting, but must admit I do it mostly to wipe the slate clean and to prove to myself I can.
When I'm eating I feel the need to limit myself to no more than 1 avo and 3 Tbls almond butter per day. Mostly so I eat more variety. Beginning to feel I should set a number on dates, too. I just got a dehydrator and ate a whole tray of kale chips. (yum!)
Did you/do you experience this? Did you transition from this phase? (is it a phase?)

Thoughts and advice please.

Be Well.

Yeah.. high sugar and high fats (more than 15%) is no bueno. I would suggest no more than 1 avo per day.

How long have you been raw?

You say "when I am fully raw".... this phase will continue, imo, as long as you are not fully raw. You'll see a major difference between when you are fully, always, and when you are high.

If you eat what you want, when you want as long as it's raw, then you can eat whatever you want and not restrict until the "phase" passes.

When I began, about 14 years ago, (and no, I'm not fully now ~ was then) I ate whatever I wanted and, at that time, there were no books, no rules. We ate a LOT of nuts, seeds, and what people are referring to as fats and sugars. To us, all we ate was just raw food. No limits, no restrictions. We all eliminated weight (which wasn't a good thing for most of us at the time).

When eating high raw (and not fully 100%), then more factors come into play.

What you eat now and what you'll eat in a year is very different. Simply allow your body to eat what it wants/needs and as Rev said... when you are fully raw it'll change. ;)
