I really do!! I hate this bloated full of poo feeling.
I am only pooping once every other day and its very very little and only because I have been massaging myself in the evenings before bed.
I did a look around online and I am wondering if my issues is because of fiber intake. I am consipated yet having running stools.
I have been eating a lot of raw spinach, sprouts apples, oranges and bananas.
What can I do?? What will help?? I know water is one good way to help dilute fiber "overdose" so should i up my h2o intake a little above 72ounces? I am wondering if the although I am drinking the right amount of water if because I just moved to the desert and have been exercising twice a day my h2o levels are beeing depleted way faster than I realize....
Any other advice?? Could it be something else?
psyllium husk or a probiotic with psyllium husk is excellent at cleaning the colon and constipation.
edit: maybe you're not eating enough to be defecating very often. but I would try the psyllium husk.

Magnesium will always work !!!
too much fruits I guess. I think fruits shd be about 10 percent of the diet, the rest should just be greens, low glycemic veggies and sprouted/soaked seeds.

Hmm I just went as soon as I got up. (Yeah I just got up). Word.
Right before I went to bed I had some watermelon juice, some celery, a few fresh figs and a plum. And then I woke up and had more plums.
It seems to me there's no cure-all food that works every time, its more about finding the right overall balance. I will say that something that often works for me is having a nice glass of water right when I wake up.
A thousand good bowel movements to you!

Prunes have always worked.
One thing that works for sure is Richard Schulze's Intestinal Formula 1. Herbdoc

more fiber (psyllium makes some people bloat so you may wan't non-psyllium fiber) and magnesium.

something that always works for me when i'm fasting is a litre of apple juice. never fails... why not try that? do you have a juicer?

Thanks for the replies... I am still struggling. I want to cry!! I hate having this crap (no pun intended) in me!!
It is making me very sluggish and I am having issues with my workouts and daily hikes with my daughter (yesterday was the 1st day I have taken a nap during the day and skipped our hike in the few weeks since moving here).
I even took a step away from raw yesterday to see if maybe some soups or cooked veggies would help. It only made me feel more tired and lifeless.
I do not have a juicer but I have a blender, I had made some thick juices with my blender before, does it still have the same effect of a juicer??
I read in a book the other day that you should NOT drink water 30minutes prior or 30minutes post eating because it can interfer with the digestive juices and dilute them thus making it harder to fully digest raw fiberous foods. I have been drinking lots of water with my raw veggie meals...
Could my digestive tract be struggling with raw?? I have just started eating raw. Eating raw veggies is totally new to me and my body, prior to this I can't tell you when I ate a raw veggie, I thought I hated them! I am having (very soft) bowel movents every other day or so but its not enough. I am wondering if my body is unsure what to do with this new addded fiber since I am pretty sure I hardly had much fiber in my diet before going raw.
I am curious now about fasting/colon cleanse. Can anyone lead me to some infomation about these. Could this help flush my system? I googled but only found diffrent "colon cleaning products" and I want to keep it 100% natural.

I like Oxypowder. Look it up and read about it. This is a nice gentle way to clean out your bowels. I am not a huge fan of fasting. This one will help and you can continue with the raw foods and then after one bottle, you probably won't have any more issues. I think those bulking agents can be a problem sometimes for some people (clay and psyllium husk). Just my 2 cents.

Prunes and prune juices are usually recommended for natural colon cleansing. Then there are enemas and that yogi string trick, though since you seem to have some sort of a blockage, I wouldn't recommend that. You could always try eating a large quantity of grapes. :)
So how was your diet and pooping before raw? You said you just got on this, so there's always the possibility that what's blocking you up is what you ate before raw. You could go for a colonic (the therapist usually recommends a series of treatments to clean you out and not just a single one) for quicker remedy and they would probably tell you what they think of your bowel movements and what caused the blockage too.
Also, going to a higher altitude for some reason usually backs me up for a few days. It might all be the new environment.

Here's what I do for green juice:
Pummel greens to a mush in the Vitamix.
Strain mushed greens through a Nut Milk Bag (10$ online purchase, worth 1000)
This works wonders for me.
Alternatively, you might want to take the mental route out of this one. Consider this quote, it has been a great help to me.
"Keep your mind as much as you can from dwelling
on your ailment. Think of strength and power and
you will draw it to you. Think of health and you
get it." - Prentice Mulford
So like, apply that to your situation. Dim out the feeling of being clogged with sewage and focus with intent on the feeling you'll feel when you release it... its a very satisfying, relieving feeling... am I going in too deep wit the details? Word.

I took your thoughts and decided I should definatly rule out mental blockages.
I layed in bed and instead of the deep kneading massage I had been doing I just did a soft gentle effleaurage of my abdomin while telling my body that I loved it and telling my digestive tract how strong and powerful it was, trying to help bring peaceful energy into my abdomen.
That mixed with some deep breathing, diffrent poga positions and gentle body movements worked!!!
I am at peace again!! Thanks everyone!! I got so caught up in the mechanical and diet aspect of what was going on I didn't take the time to think of the mental and energetic option!

Drink Lots and Lots of water ...everyday.
And dont be afraid to eat some good fats like avocados to give the bm some slide.
This is a long term thing and will not fix your immediate problem

Everybody works differently, but I can't stand drinking and eating at the same time. I feel like it really slows down my digestion.
Also, prunes/prune juice aren't really effective for me now that I've been raw a while. Wonder why.
Dates, nuts, coconut, anything high in fiber should get things going. You mentioned that you are just now going raw though, so it could be part of the transition. A lot of people get bloated in the first stages.

Prunes definitely works!!!!! ;)

Im thinking I shd just fast for one day.
It may have started when I ate after I haven't even fully digested my last meal (well it was the DAY before). Started a bad cycle.
