View Full Version : I just went raw, anyone in Northampton, MA?

My name is Dave. I was raw before about 8 years ago, and due to a variety of life circumstances strayed from the path. I spent last month on a cooked vegan diet, and I just returned from whole foods and am starting raw today. I remember how good I felt back in the day so I am making a change.

As many of you may know, the raw diet can be quite isolating, so if any of you are in the Northampton area want to chat let me know.

Right now I am eating a cacao nib, raw honey, and peanut butter mixture that I threw in the processor. It's like a desert.

Have you tried Karma yet in NoHo center?
Are you hooked up with the local Raw food Metup and potlucks?
Brian Clement just did a talk at the local group.

I went to one. It was okay. Just super busy (4 kids, hubby, 3 college classes) and live somewhat rurally. It takes an hour or more to get to a potluck for me.

I'm in the beautiful Hudson Valley, NY. CT and MASS not too far from me...I'll have to look for these potlucks and meet up groups. There is one raw place around here, someplace in Beacon. I've yet to go but plan on it soon as my schedule permits.

I'm actually headed up to Salem this weekend for a girls getaway. :)

Anyway, just wanted to say hi :)
