Welcome welcome welcome!!!

Welcome to the 30 day challenge.

If you haven't already... please take a moment to read the posting rules/guidelines (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/announcement.php?a=3) of this section. Thanks!

Welcome to the Monthly Raw Challenge!

We're excited about this new area of the forum that is specifically for those of you who are eager to commit to a month of eating 100% raw foods and seeing miraculous results!

WE (one of the moderators) will start a new challenge thread on the first of every month.

We want the focus of these monthly challenge threads to be on staying raw and accountability. Therefore, if you have eaten all raw and then slip up and have something cooked, we don’t want you to beat yourself up over it or dwell on it, but this is not space to discuss it. You are more than welcome to document it in your journal/blog or ask for help in the discussion area, but it is not necessary (and not allowed) to discuss your slip-up here in the challenge threads, just get right back on track and keep going!

In the event that you feel you are not quite ready to fully commit to the challenge and you find yourself having slip-ups often, then please join us again during the following month. Of course you are still more than welcome to participate on other parts of the forum, but we would really like to keep this section dedicated to those who are committed to doing 30 days 100% raw.

Peace, Blessings and Warmest Regards,

Cherie

Hey all!!

How are you!!?
So, just a little set back- I had coffee. Is it a total cheat if I just have one cup of coffee aday? Just for the start? I'm not getting ANYTHING done till about noon because I'm such a terrible coffee addict and I've kind of replaced it with nuts and seeds (around 200g)? Not ideal, also having green smoothies LOADS!

Hope you're all well!

Thankyou for your support!

Starting smoothies on monday again haven't had one for a few days, they sold out of kale, cant fast anytime soon. Only worked 2 days this past week, everyones been sick.Im not even gonna set a date to start my fast untill I know I have the loot.

Anyhow,I had a good time looking around our asian stores today,I just went for miso have been craving soup.
They had so many varieties of miso it was crazy, half was in jap. so I settled on some organic low sodium miso mild it said.We will see.Was cheap enough 3.00$,I also bout a giant bag of dehydrated shiitakki mushrooms for like 6$ bucks.Thats way cheap.I had bought nori wraps weeks ago,so i got a mat there for like a buck.So i made them for the first time tonight.

Saw a recipie for makeing cauliflower into rice.I was giddy, that is so cool lol
I had one in the fridge so I shreaded that whole bad boy up.Used some of that for my rice ,added some zuchinni, sprouts and a lil nut cheese an rolled em.
Very fishy smelling,They were not bad but they will take getting use to as I never ate sushi before raw,but overall I will be making soon(love the cauliflower ).
I could tell as I was eating it though that the seaweed sheet was good for my body,I dont know how to express that, but sometimes when I eat something or juice something, it feels right if that makes sense.

what I ate today...
B-large orange juice
S-kale salad
L-2 banana's
S-peach
D-2 large nori rolls
Gonna try the miso, sometime this week
