I want to make a fancy raw Halloween feast this year, so I thought I'd start this thread so everyone can post pics/recipes of tasty Samhain treats! TIA for ideas, and bring on the pumpkin :)

A green green smoothie or soup. ;) Perfect first course and/or dessert. For smoothies you can mix in fruit chunks and for soup you can mix in chunks of whatever you'd think would compliment. I like chopped apples, avocado, tomatoes, and shredded cabbage in my soup. But seriously, some of my green soups turn out utterly repulsive looking with a murky green-brown color. <3

Pumpkin pie obviously makes for a great heavier dessert and goes great with the fall theme. No specific recipes, sorry. ><

And how about some spiced tea to drink? ;)

For those planning a movie-marathon I suggest some cauli-popcorn and kale/collard chips if you feel that you want something to munch on.

Caramel apples:
We had this demo'd at our group last year, it is very simple.
Process 1-2 cups of dates until it is a soft mixture.
Place each apple on a popsicle stick. Wrap the date mixture around the apple.
Eat as it or roll in chopped nuts or coconut threads.

My favorite is apple slices dipped in caramel. Process or blend pitted dates with a splash of almond milk (or almond butter and a little water), a few drops of vanilla, and a tiny pinch of sea salt. Tastes even better than caramel!
