macadamia nuts?

Do you have to soak macadamias? I thought I had read somewhere that you don't, but I couldn't find it, so I went ahead and soaked them.

They turned a different color (almost a tan translucent) after I dehydrated them. Are they still good? (I really hope so, I did almost 4 pounds that I had ordered then dried and put them in the freezer).

They don't need to be soaked for nutritional purposes as they aren't coated with enzyme inhibitors. Only soak them if you are going to blend them.
But I'd think that they are still fine. If they taste fine, then they are good. :)
