...do you make raw bread?? Or pizza dough, crackers, etc.? I've tried on several occasions, but the only thing that's ever worked out for me is flax crackers. I think I might have a shitty dehydrator--everything seems to take waaaay longer to dry than recipes say--but I would think I'd still be able to make things. How thin/thick are you supposed to spread the batter? I find that if I either spread it too thick and it NEVER dries, or if I try and do it thinner, it just crumbles or makes all these bald spots in the batter where it just dried off.

Any advice would be appreciated sooooooooo much, I really want to expand my raw repertoire.

I've successfully made breads/pizza doughs in both of my dehydrators, I just unfortunately, haven't found a recipe I like yet :(

I spread my batter about 1/4"-1/2" thick and then dry it for about 8 hours, flip over and dry a little bit more.

have you tried putting a thermometer in your dehydrator to see what temp it's actually functioning at?

I also spread mine 1/4 inch thick and when your drying them between 105 - 115, they just take some time. I plan on anywhere from 12-24 hours. When they are dry enough to flip over, I flip them and then take a pizza cutter and score them to the size I'm wanting. Good Luck.
