Does water fasting help eliminate parasites?

Hi,

Well, I am just full of gross questions this week, and it's only my second week on the forum! lol!

But, seriously, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if water fasting can help eliminate parasites?

The reason I ask is that I'm on my second round of colonics, and now large parasites are coming out of me! Eeewww, gross! The colon therapist said that most people have them, but it is just disgusting to think of those things inside me. And they are NOT small!

I figure where there's a few, there are many. So, I ate about 5 cloves of garlic yesterday...and would have eaten more, until I realized that my breath could probably kill a clan of vampires. There is no way I could keep eating 5 cloves of garlic a day, unless I wanted to keep everyone far, far away from me!

So, I went out an bought a parasite cleansing kit from the health food store.

But I was also thinking that maybe a water fast might help get rid of the critters faster...you know, starve them out.

Anyone have any experience in this area, getting rid of them faster with a water fast?

I don't even know what they ARE. Wish I did. They didn't seem to match the description of the most common parasites I found on most colon cleansing websites. Eeech. Gross. (Sorry!)

You can water fast or you can juice fast and add garlic to your savoury juices! That's how I deal with them... garlic in my juices!

And ya, everyone has them so try not to be too grossed out. I highly recommend though... that you do this slow. There's no rush to get them all out NOW and the healing crisis you will go through if you dump too many of them (dead) into your system will not be fun at all!!!

Thanks. But I'd rather have a healing crisis than know these things are inside me. Better out than in!

On a side note, I was thinking yesterday that the story of Dracula is probably a metaphor for intestinal worms. Dracula hates garlic (so do parasites), sleeps in a small confined space (so do parasites, coffin = intestine), sucks blood (so do parasites), and seems to live forever (the endless cycle of adult-egg-larvae-adult, etc.. :)

I also found a better tasting home remedy than garlic - coconut and castor oil cleanse. I think I'll do that. They were using castor oil internally for hundreds of years before they recently declared it "unsafe" for human consumption....so, I'm going to give that a shot, too.
