Hi folks new here and I'm planning on posting an introduction later but can someone tell me what they believe is a good dehydrator?

I know the Excaliburs are nice but they are bit more pricey than what I can afford right now.

Other suggestions?

Thanks!

The Excalibur IS the most reasonably priced. It will save you time because you can do 9 trays of produce at one time. You can heat up a good-sized pan of lasagna. Top quality that goes with the price is your best buy.

You can, imo, waste your money on something that doesn't give the value you want because you can't do everything you want.

How frustrating it would be for me to not be able to remove trays so I can do three bunches of kale chips at one time? Or, slice up apples, peaches and pears and dry them all at once? Or have to remember to rotate trays because the heat is at the bottom and it's not getting to all at once? OR, the heat is so uneven that some of my food spoils before it dries?

My suggestion ~ check everywhere they sell used items ~ Craigslist, eBay, thrift shops and find and Ex... You'll be saving money in the long (and short) run.

Ok thanks. :) I really wasn't sure.

I suppose I can save up some funds.
