Fasting + emergency contraception

So I'm very happy to be embarking on a fresh new master cleanse today, and this time I have the pleasure of a friend doing it alongside me! However, about 5 minutes ago she told me something that has made me doubt she should be fasting..

She had to get a morning after pill this morning.

I'm wondering if she can fast directly or not after having this? I don't know the specifics of what went down, or how likely it is she was going to be pregnant, or how long the MA pill stays in your system for etc etc, but I suppose I'm wondering is
a) Will the master cleanse flush out the effects of the emergency contraception, rendering it useless and
b) Is she safe to fast after having such a strong ... thing?

As soon as she told me I, alarmed, asked her to quit the master cleanse straight away but she's so happy at having got through day 1 she's having none of it, so..

Can anyone please give me thoughts and advice I can pass on to my friend? :)

I agree with Aleesha. Just ask the pharmacist if it's ok to fast after the morning after pill. They are supposed to know about the pills they dispense.

Pharmacist said it would be fine, don't remember the reasoning behind it now though!
