Strawberrypassion

Hello. I am 47 and want to get back to being my healthiest and I know eating raw the best for me. In the past I had eaten more raw foods and have not felt as good since. I am taking the 30 day challange. I am still reading a lot of information here to learn how to make some raw meals, smoothies etc.
I would love to buy all organic produce if I can afford what is available. I will be searching in town. Someday when I buy property I will have my own organic garden.
I grew up on a property that had apple, pear and mulberry trees. A grape vine and old garden plot. The strawberries that were grown by the owners of many years had escaped the garden and ran wild in the field next to the garden. So by the time I was 12 we had a field of wild strawberries. My family never sprayed any pestacides so I had the luxury of climbing those trees and eating the best tasting tree ripened fruits. Had to watch for worms in the apples. The wild strawberries were amazing tasting little gems. Tiny but so flavorful. So now you know why my name is Strawberrypassion.
I have struggled with losing weight my whole adult life after my daughter was born at age 20. I almost got back down to a normal weight. I lose and gain. This time I am giving my body what it craves. Fresh fruits and vegetables.
I am looking forward to trying raw recipes and hope to get to know some other raw foodists here and share ideas and experiences. Would be nice to make a few friends along the way.
