HI all,
I have recommitted to the raw lifestyle after some major lifechanges. Hence, the new name.
One of the life changes was purchasing of a new home. However, I must now got to be up at 4 am to catch the 5.15 train out to get to work by 6 am.
One way I thought to overcome the lack of time in the morning, was to make my green smoothies and juices the night before.
Any thoughts?

It is not ideal but it is still OK.
When you put them in a container try to make sure that there is as little air as possible left at the top of the container by filling it right up and sealing it well.

what kind of juicer do you have? that makes a difference. if it's a centrifugal... you need to consume the juice immediately. if you have a champion, greenstar or samson... you can consume it the next day.

Smoothies can be kept for up to (not recommended) 3 days and, as Sport says, make sure there's very little to no air in the container.
I agree with Aleesha except with the Champion. I've had two. For me, the juice of a Champion "should" be drunk immediately as it heats fairly easily ~ unless something's changed over the last few years. Sampson, Green Power, Green whatever's juices can be made the day before and kept in a thermos.

The juicer is a centrifugal jack-la-laine.
Well, I know what to do now. Perhaps it is better to make the smoothie the night before and have it for breakfast, do a salad for lunch, and then juice at dinner when I can get it fresh!
Thanks so much for your help. I just had a field day at the grocers. I never had a jack fruit before, so now I am going to try 1.

I have never had a jackfruit either but I hear good things about them. My day will come.

There is also the option of using a vacuum sealing machine and jar top attachement to remove air from the jars.

Put the whole *leaves* & plants in the juicer the night before, cover, seal and leave in fridge, then give them a blast before work! Takes 3 seconds. Call it "preventive medicine." :D Preparation is the best cure.
