Welcome welcome welcome!!!

Welcome to the 30 day challenge.

If you haven't already... please take a moment to read the posting rules/guidelines (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/announcement.php?a=3) of this section. Thanks!

Welcome to the Monthly Raw Challenge!

We're excited about this new area of the forum that is specifically for those of you who are eager to commit to a month of eating 100% raw foods and seeing miraculous results!

WE (one of the moderators) will start a new challenge thread on the first of every month.

We want the focus of these monthly challenge threads to be on staying raw and accountability. Therefore, if you have eaten all raw and then slip up and have something cooked, we don’t want you to beat yourself up over it or dwell on it, but this is not space to discuss it. You are more than welcome to document it in your journal/blog or ask for help in the discussion area, but it is not necessary (and not allowed) to discuss your slip-up here in the challenge threads, just get right back on track and keep going!

In the event that you feel you are not quite ready to fully commit to the challenge and you find yourself having slip-ups often, then please join us again during the following month. Of course you are still more than welcome to participate on other parts of the forum, but we would really like to keep this section dedicated to those who are committed to doing 30 days 100% raw.

Peace, Blessings and Warmest Regards,

Cherie

Whole Foods is now selling Raw Hummus YEA!!:D I am really not into the whole sprouting thing so this is great for me. They offer two flavors Original and Red Pepper ( I used to only eat the Roasted Red Pepper Hummus so this is a great substitute)

today I am eating
Raw Corn Chips
Smoothies
Raw Hummus
Fresh Juice
Lots of Water

Lost another 6.8lbs tonight,Woohoo.I wasnt sure after only loseing 1lb last week, thought maybe I had to tweak my diet somehow to keep up the flow but I guess that was the monthly visitor and her gallon of fluids attackin da body... Anyhow I know weight loss isnt the main goal, but it feels good just the same

I wish everyone the same success in thier journey for whatever goals they are seeking, the feeling of happy, and the sense of this all makeing sense I attribute to Raw Food.

Almost one week 100% raw and my blood pressure went from 124/84 to 118/72.

I've been hungry alot and am always grazing on something. Tomorrow I'm weighing in officially to see how much weight I lost this week.

Hey good people, do you mind if I jump in? My month long (hopefully longer than that even) raw challenge starts tomorrow, and I'm so excited! My goals are:

Lose about 15-20 pds
Eat 100% raw
Liquid fast once a week
Fully commit (that should be number one) to this challenge
No self defeated attitude

I'm seriously looking forward to the raw hiiiiiigh! :) I have plenty of goodies at home but tomorrow may be a challenge because I have something in the morning for several hours, then am going to my mother's house for dinner ( of course I won't be eating what's served). I haven't prepped and get home pretty late this evening. What I may do is grab fruit and deal. :)

Have a geat day all!
