I'm trying to find out how to enjoy my salads or raw veggies when we have to go out to eat or if where eating at someone's house! I used to always just eat a baked potato or corn with my salad for the flavoring, but now I'm wanting to be 100% raw not just 75% raw! So would anyone have some ideas? I like avocados, but I wouldn't want to eat a whole one with my lunch because it makes me sleepy!
Thanks for all your time! Have a veggie day!

I like to make various dips and dressings. My recent favorite is to blend a clove of garlic (or two...I like garlic!) with a whole tomato and about 1 tbsp each of chickpea miso and raw tahini. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll add a splash of lemon or lime juice and some nutritional yeast, maybe some herbs if I'd like a different flavor. (Works well with basil OR thai spices, for example. Play around)

This is delicious as a dressing, but also works great as a dip. It's much lower in fat than most dressings since it uses tomato as the base and takes about 5 minutes to make including clean up. I love it!

(It also works as a "cream of tomato" soup. Even my non-raw partner loves it.)

Enjoy!

You can cut down the amount of avocado or get fresh guacamole. Fresh salsa also can work. You can bring a mini bottle filled with olive oil & spices like cayenne, kelp, etc. Or at the place, onion & fresh spices can be helpful. Really just having a large variety of veggies gives a salad tons of flavor on it's own. Then squeeze some lemon, lime or orange juice over it.
