I'm wanting to fast. I read that juice fasts are very cleansing, but how much do I consume? I'd like to do a just OJ fast or apple, not sure which is the best for cleansing, but anyway...do I only have 32oz? more? less? Any advice or suggestions are welcomed :)

Drink as much as you are thirsty for. If you don't want juice, drink water.

Cleansing is a bodily function, not an action associated with foods. Foods can assist by not needing much in the way of digestion which in effect offer more bodily energy available for elimination (cleansing). Warmth, rest and sleep also enhance cleansing.

Citrus is great as it results in an alkaline ash in the body where as the normal tendency of life processes are acid forming.

Revell is correct with the suggestion and oranges or grapefruit are great this time of year. If making citrus juice I keep all the pulp in the juice and pick out the seeds. Riboflavinoids are abundant in the pulp.

...stay warm, and good luck with it. You will experience some discomforts from time to time depending on how you lived before this. You may want to call an experinced practioner with questions regarding any symptoms that are difficult for you. A proffesional practioner has witnessed thousands of fasts of all lengths and with severity of conditions. If you want one I can give a great resource for it.
All the best.
