I saw some bulgur wheat at the whole foods store in the bulk section. It looked like wheat berries that were cut in half or in peices. Some of it might have been whole. can this be soaked in water and be soft enough to eat like oat groats? I bought some oat groats in bulk and they are awesome to eat raw, if they are raw.

I just saw there was another named bulgur wheat, not durum wheat (the original title of thread). So I changed it to bulgur wheat because that's what it really was. And I also found it out wasn't raw so..
