ya that one is not raw. it's easy to make.

soak your almonds (a cup or two)
drain
put it in a blender with water, a drop or two of olive oil and a bit of salt. you can even add vanilla if you wish.

blend... strain and then take the pulp and add more water... blend again. strain.

now you have almond mylk!!!

That product is pasteurised but the chances are that the almonds you buy are pasteurised as well so it may be "six of one and half a dozen of the other"

I love almond breeze! It's not raw, I doubt anything bottled would be, but I only drink it a few times a month and plus it's alottttttttt better for you than other milk!

"six of one and half a dozen of the other"

I have an Irish friend who says "six or two threes". A different way of saying it!

Just an aside. LOL

We are so weird.
I just googled the origin of the phrase "six of one and half a dozen of the other" as I never assumed it to be an Irish phrase.

The phrase is used as a title of a story in Harper's New Monthly Magazine's Dec. 1883 to May 1884 issue, page 765.
It can also be found in the book "The Comic Latin Grammar", 2nd ed., copyright 1840.

I'm just replacing milk with coconut water, I try to shift my way of thinking and avoid anything that could remind me of real milk cuz I was a HUGE dairy fan!
